Courses, workshops, and bootcamps all have their own timeline. you can find that information in the individual program. One-on-One Coaching minimum commitment is 3 months. Based on my experience people turn a corner at the 90 day mark and start really getting traction if they put in the work between our sessions. Anything under 90 days is a waste of your time and investment since the healthy habits that I am helping you form won't have time to take hold.
Courses, workshops, and bootcamps are designed to help lots of people heal and prosper together. Group settings allow you to develop a stronger support network to help you through the tough times. They also allow you to learn from other people's challenges and victories at a reduced cost, because you are sharing the James' time with other people.
One-on-One Coaching with me is YOUR time. The entire session is focused on your needs and how I can help you heal and grow.
I combine the wisdom of 12 Steps with Trauma Recovery to improve your thinking, actions, behavior and spiritual condition. I follow a clear and easy framework for change so you know where you are and where you are going. I will teach you how to overcome challenges in 30 minutes that used to take you 3 weeks, by showing you how to expose the roots of your wounds and reprogram your thinking without having to relive the pain.

Absolutely!! I've worked the Twelve Steps 26 times in 9 different programs in my 30+ years of recovery. Even if you have a good sponsor, I can help you level up your recovery. If you don't have a solid sponsor or you've been in recovery but haven't worked the steps, it will set you on an entirely different path that will make your life happier and healthier.

I found 12 Step recovery in 1994 at the age of 26 when I admitted my powerlessness over drugs and alcohol.
Since then I have worked the 12 Steps 26 times in 9 programs over 30 years. I've attended well over 10,000 12 Step meetings and continue to make recovery my number one priority. One day at a time, I continue to overcome addictions to alcohol, drugs, money, sex, relationships and violence thanks to daily trauma work in these 12 Step programs: AA, VA, DA, UA, Alanon, SLAA, SAA, SRA, and RCA.
In 2004 I founded Violence Anonymous, a recovery program for people who use conflict, drama and control to meet their needs at the expense of others and have helped thousands of people to date. My work in Violence Anonymous and over 30 years of personal trauma therapy and recovery has made me an expert in the field of trauma, its effects on humanity and the solution to overcoming it.
